Earth Day Breakfast Recipe

For a early morning snack I take a cue from the author of Zen Macrobiotics:

Tahini mixed with barley miso and spread on brown rice cakes…

It’s tasty but about as photogenic as a cow patty.

It’s a Zen cookbook entry where no excess is allowed. That means the reader stares into a blank white wall and calls it meditation.

Stare at the screen below where it’s white and blank and thank me for your morning meditation:

Now you have your moment of Zen. Wake up and smell the coffee, if you can drink it. I can’t—unless I am too tired to drive safely.
